here is a dire need for Muslim communities to unify and create a place of support for one another within the global community. We are living in an era when the western educational system and the workplace enforce a lack of faith and passivism. Even a Muslim who adheres to the very minimal Islamic traditions and practices is an outcast and seen as ‘extreme’ by western society, sometimes by other Muslims as well. While many may resist complying with western thought, some begin to shed their Muslim identity to conform to the larger society.
